Holiday Gift Guide

The holidays are finally here!!! I’m traveling to Seattle right now and am feeling festive so I decided to create a gift guide for lovers, parents, friends, and anyone special in your life! I am super excited to share my ideas with y’all and hope you find them useful while doing your shopping. Don’t forget that Black Friday is coming up so a lot of my items will be on sale!

I will start with gifts for your lady since I have lots of ideas in mind! (hint hint) The gifts are arranged from least expensive to most expensive.

1. Bath Bombs & Shower Bubbles

I can not think of a single girl who doesn’t love to take a relaxing bath at night and snap some photos of her colorful bath tub! I love love love Lush bath bombs and bubbles. This company hand crafts their products with great ingredients that are nourishing to your skin.

If the woman in your life doesn’t love the sparkly colors and just wants a bath bomb to make her skin feel silky and smooth, then the cocoa butter ones are the way to go! These bombs nourish your body head to toe and smell delicious.

2. Fuzzy Socks

Another great gift to pair with a bath bomb or by itself would be a nice warm pair of fuzzy socks. I am constantly wearing my fuzzy socks now that it’s officially winter and my feet are always freezing. These socks are usually pretty cheap too, so it is a thoughtful gift that girls love and you don’t have to spend much money on! I know Target has good deals on fuzzy socks and so does Bath and Body Works! My favorite pair from Bath and Body Works is their shea butter socks linked below.

3. Candles & Scents

Who doesn’t love a good holiday candle? The smells of Christmas make me feel so incredibly happy at home. Some great places to find holiday scents that are good quality would be Yankee Candle, Bath and Body Works, Nest, and Glassy Baby. I’ll tag some of my favorite holiday smells as well!

Pumpkin and Waffles

Bourbon Butterscotch

Twisted Peppermint

Nest Holiday Candles - The holiday candles are 20% off right now!

4. Lip Products

I know that I love to smooch soft lips around the holidays so why not get your girl some nice lip products! I have a few lip products that I’m obsessed with and I know that any girl would love to receive these. It’s easy to have chapped lips during the winter time because of the freezing weather, but thank god for great products! Most of these items are from Sephora, although you can find them many places.

Fresh Lip Brand - This limited edition kit will run out fast so order yours now!

Dior Lipstick Set – This Dior lip kid is a reasonable price and comes in the cutest hand clutch that you can use for anything!

Perfect Pout Lip Scrub - These are the Lush handmade lip scrubs. They have such yummy flavors to choose from!

5. Essential Oils & Diffuser

Okay, so I personally would not be able to live without my diffuser. I have mine going at all times with different smells to get me through the day. I was living at my boyfriend’s house for a while before we left for college and he ended up buying himself one when I was gone because he missed it so much! This is also a great gift for the men in your life because even his dad wanted one when I left! I’ve definitely learned what brands to stick with over time so I will list my favorites below. I will also list the scents that I like and then the scents that Austin likes because maybe it’s a boy/girl thing. I prefer the citrus smells and lavender because they make me feel awake and alert. Austin loves peppermint, vanilla, and the sleeping aromas to fall asleep to. I started with a $20 diffuser from a smoothie place and that broke down really quick, so I’d recommend spending money the first time and having a nice quality diffuser.

DoTerra Essential Oil

Young Living  - These oils you have to buy through a distributor, but they are known as the best therapeutic oils.

6. Slip Pillow Case

Another beauty product that you normally wouldn’t think about but works wonders is the Slip Pillowcase. This is a silk pillowcase that is great for elasticity of hair and your face as well. Most people wouldn’t think about going out and buying this for themselves which is why it makes for a perfect gift. You can also purchase the set that comes with an eye sleeping mask as well! Super cute and comfortable since it’s made out of silk. The pillow case has proven to reduce wrinkles, bed head, and hair elasticity.

7. Perfume

Okay, so I know perfume can be hard to purchase for someone because you don’t know if they’ll like the smell. I have a few perfumes that I personally love so I am going to share them with you. Starting cheap would be Beautiful Day by Bath and Body Works. My second favorite that I absolutely love is Apple by DKNY. Austin got me this one year and I use it almost everyday so he did great with that one! My third favorite would be the pink Ed Hardy perfume. And last but not least I love body mists like coconut and rose that are faint smells. Make sure to test perfumes before buying them, but all of my friends love these scents as well so I would hope you couldn't go wrong with them!

8. Personalized Bracelet or Ring

I have never asked Austin for a specific gift before because I never can think of anything I want… But this year is different! We have been together for 6 years now so we try and spend money on vacations or short getaways with each other rather then buying gifts. We’re going to the Caribbean for Christmas this year so that was our gift, BUT I told him I am dying for one thing and that is an engraved bracelet. They honestly don’t have to be expensive the ones he was looking at range from about $70-$150. So now that I know he’s getting me that I can’t wait to see the words he chooses to put inside! I already know I’m gonna cry and I even know it’s coming hahah. I think it is super sweet to get your girl something personal that she will cherish forever! There are great websites that you can personalize rings, bracelets, necklaces, and much more.

I have a love for anything that is Ugg brand because they are so cozy and comfy. I adore my Ugg slippers and moccasins more than anything. If you are wanting to spend a bit more then this would be the perfect Christmas gift because they are expensive (so we hate purchasing them on our own) but receiving them as a gift would make for the perfect present!

10. Lululemon Anything

I swear if you don’t love Lulu lemon you’re crazy. Just kidding, you’re probably more practical! I know it can be an expensive brand but once you try on their yoga pants and clothing you will see why. I absolutely love their yoga pants, sport bras, and jackets. Something nice about this brand is you can wash the articles of clothing a thousand times and they still look and feel brand new. I purchased my first pair of Lululemon crop yoga pants in 9th grade of high school and now six years later I still wear them weekly.

11. Purse & Wallet

I think a great gift is a new purse or a cute little wallet. A couple years ago Austin got me a Michael Kors purse (he likes getting me that brand because my initials are MK) and I still use it whenever I go out or run errands! You can literally buy a purse at Target because they have the cutest ones ever, or if you are wanting to spend more you can find a nice designer bag! I know finding a purse can be hard so I will link a few of my favorites below to help! I also have a tiny credit card wallet from Michael Kors and it was under $50. This is super handy to throw in my backpack, purse, or even pocket when I am out and about.

12. Concert Tickets & Activities

Alright so my favorite gift of all time have been going to concerts, on vacation, a road trip, or anywhere to make new memories. This gift works for anyone in your life. I think quality time is the best gift of all, especially when you get to go somewhere special with your loved one. A couple examples could be getting a hotel for the night in the city, driving to a state near you to explore, flying to a resort, etc.

Now moving on to gifts for the special man in your life! I always have a hard time finding new gift ideas so hopefully this helps some of y’all. I’d also love new ideas if you want to comment below on this post and tell me what you get for your man. Once again I’m starting with least expensive and moving to most expensive.

1. Boxer Briefs

I have no clue why but I love picking out a cute set of new boxer briefs. I think it’s fun to get some that he doesn’t have and change it up! Austin loves Lululemon so that is where I first got the idea was when they came out with them. Also, Nordstrom has a big variety to choose form (including silk ones) that are comfortable and fun to try! I think the holiday ones are so cute he has this one pair of snowmen that always seem to be on…

2. Blanket

Who doesn't love a fuzzy blanket made with love? It is so much fun to go to the fabric store and pick out some comfy materials to tie into a blanket. It can get pricy depending on what material you pick, so make sure to ask an employee before getting it cut for you. Austin uses his blanket every night and that makes me so happy!

3. Beard Grooming Set

I don’t know what it is about men and their beards but Aust has always loved these gifts! I have found a few good brands that he has liked and will link those below. I think it’s exciting for them to open a full gift set of beard oil, shaping cream, moisturizer, trimmers, and shower wash.

4. Wallet

A super simple gift for a guy is a nice new wallet. I’ve gotten a few for my man and he loves switching them out when he gets tired of one or if he wants a different size. Some wallets you can get personalized so I think that’s a special idea since they take it with them everywhere. My dad has a wallet where the leather is engraved and it looks very masculine and nice.

5. Clothing

Men can be hard to shop for sometimes so I want to list a couple items I’ve gotten Austin that he loves and are not funky in size. First off I’d say his favorite gift to get is anything Lululemon. I don’t even know when he became obsessed with their stuff, but it’s just about all he wants now. They have a dress pant called the ABC pant and they almost look like slacks, however, they are as comfy as lounge sweats. These are perfect for fancy nights out because he can still be comfortable. I believe they come in black, navy blue, and tan. They also have nice shorts and I’ll link those below. You could honestly get anything from here and I’m sure your man would love it, but these are his favorites if you are stuck. Austin used to love shoes so I’d buy him Nike’s or Jordan’s, but he’s out of that stage now so I don’t do much shoe shopping anymore.

6. Watch

I love searching for nice watches at the mall because I think this is a perfect holiday gift to spend a little extra on a nice brand. I absolutely love black watches so I got Austin a black Movado watch a couple years ago. Apple watches are popular now too and I know men would love those!

Next are gifts for parents, family members, friends, and anyone you could think of!

1. Coffee Mug & Hot Cocoa

Hot cocoa is essential during the holidays, so anyone would love to receive this as a gift. William Sonoma has a 3 pack of different flavored hot chocolates that come with little marshmallows and is truly delicious! There are many flavors, but my favorites are salted caramel, peppermint, and dark chocolate. While you’re at the store or online you could get some cute mugs or a candle to go along with the gift.

2. Candles & Lighter

Once again who doesn’t love a festive candle? I listed some above and those are great, but I also have some more that are more expensive for special adults in your life. My mama loves the brand Nest because they smell great and don’t put smoke into the air.

Nest Holiday Candles

Glassy Baby - Hand blown glass candles for a great cause!

3. Wine Glasses

I love love love wine and I think wine glasses are a perfect gift for family members and friends! All home stores have cute and festive glasses right now for the holiday parties. Listed below are a few of my favorite glasses. Also, wine tools are great to pair with a bottle of wine and some glasses to complete the gift. Mulled wine recipes are great to add into your gift set during the holidays!

5. Pajama Sets

I love it when my parents or friends get me new pajama sets! I think it's fun to get matching ones and open presents in them. Victorias Secret and Nordstrom have adorable sets of pajamas for a reasonable price. These are a perfect gift to give to men or women in your life for the holiday season!

For men I will get iTunes, Amazon, Nordstrom, Lululemon, Sports Stores, and restaurants/fast food.
