I am so excited to share my recent trip that I took to Nashville! Let’s just start by if I was given the opportunity to move there tomorrow I would. The city is unbelievable and there is so much life you can never be bored.
My family started downtown where we grabbed some coffee and snacks to start our day. The day before coming here I heard that my celebrity fav Jessie James Decker was coming to host a pop up event for a boot company. As we waited for her to arrive we went through different shops and listened to lots of music along the way! It was so hot out and we had our dog Sunny with us so we couldn’t go inside to eat here. Around 1 o'clock we went back to the event where Jessie was and wow she is so so perfect! By far the kindest person too. We got pictures with her and then headed down to 12 South.
One of my fav bloggers is always here so I wanted to check out what it was like. 12 South gives you the old fashioned, rustic vibe. There is street art on every wall you pass and the cutest little coffee shops and fine dining. My family ate at a delicious burger place called Burger Up. I would 100% recommend this to anyone in the area. They let our pooch sit out on the deck as well so that was sweet since we were all starving for a burger! After we ate we visited some walls to take pictures in front of and then got a goodie from Five Daughters Bakery. Again, a must try! They have a variety of donuts and ice cream and the cutest building to take some fun pics in front of. Not that everything should be about pictures but when you're playing tourist for the day it's fun! One of my favorite places we stopped at was a mobile flower VW bus. Here, you can pick out your own bouquet of flowers and roses.
The laid back feel that Nashville has is hard to beat. You come across the friendliest people and slow paced environment. You will never feel rushed when you are eating out or browsing around stores. Below I am going to post the addresses to the wall art and some must eat and see places! I haven’t tried all of these yet but when doing my research many people recommend these places as a must when visiting Nash. I hope y'all enjoyed this post and someday have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Nashville, Tennessee!
